With the second half of the Exposure-Meter season officially underway Jamie O’Brien made a power move this month, taking the number two spot back from South African Jordy Smith. While Smith has been getting plenty of exposure, this month O’Brien bested him by 2,700 points. Read more details right here.
Last week the crew from Matix came down to Oceanside from its offices in Torrance to spend a little quality time with the Transworld team. They came correct too. Aside from what you’d expect to encounter at a beach BBQ—like food, beer, and fun—Matix rolled down to O-Side with its surf team, the entire staff of the company, and they even brought a Playboy playmate. Oakley took care of the details. The only thing shop and media teams had to do was show up at Dana Point Harbor and catch fish. Transworld didn’t come back with any cash prizes, but we were able to snag a few photos.
