Transworld Business had an exclusive interview with Matt McClain, Director of Marketing and Communications at the Surfrider Foundation just moments after this morning's announcement of Surfrider's Save Trestles campaign victory over the TCA. Here's what McClain had to say:

This benefit event will not only help to raise money for Surfrider Foundation, but also increase awareness for the crucial “Save Trestles” campaign to save the state park. Surfrider Foundation will be on hand to provide information about the critical upcoming public hearing on the matter at UCI, July 25th.

The July 25th hearing on the 241 Toll Road has been postponed by the Irvine's Bren Center, due to an estimate that more than 10,000 Save Trestles supporters would attend, overwhelming the facility.

The biggest hearing yet for Trestles will take place Friday, July 25th at the Bren Center on the campus of University of California, Irvine.
