Mt Buller, Victoria’s premier alpine resort, has marked a milestone today as recycled water from the resort’s new Water Reuse system has been used for snowmaking for the first time.

An Israel company, IDE Technologies (IDE), is introducing a unique refrigeration technology for producing man-made snow which uses 80% less energy and can produce snow at temperatures above freezing to move up opening days.
