FOOTHILL RANCH, Calif., Sept. 16, 2008 – Oakley, Inc., in conjunction with Fice Boutique announced today the upcoming release of the limited edition Fice x Oakley Frogskin sunglass, a custom eyewear piece created for the new Salt Lake City boutique owned by Corey Bullough and Oakley Snowboarder, Laura Hadar.
The custom Fice x Oakley Frogskin was designed by Laura, an Oakley athlete for almost a decade. Known for her edgy style and raw energy, Laura’s made major appearances at X Games and shook up the industry with her versatile ability on the snow and slaughter of urban features.
Laura teamed up with co-owner Corey Bullough to create an exclusive urban boutique deep in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, pushing levels of creativity, art and culture in a conservative arena. A gallery and a boutique, Fice is also involved in the community by supporting local and national artists.
Only 100 pieces have been created and will be sold exclusively at Fice, located at 160 East 200 South, Salt Lake City, UT, for a suggested retail price of US$150. Fice is the first urban boutique in Salt Lake City to collaborate with a company as accomplished as Oakley to create a one-of-a-kind piece.
Fice and Oakley will launch this exclusive piece at a private event hosted at Fice, on Saturday, September 27. The festivities will commence at 7pm with an exclusive unveiling of the Fice x Oakley Frogksin, in addition to an exclusive performance by DJ Ming & Ping. Drinks and food will be provided by Redbull and Oakley. At 9pm Fice and Oakley will continue the celebration at CLUB SOUND where Ming & Ping will wrap-up the night’s festivities with a live performance. This performance will be open to the public. Tickets can be purchased at Fice.
