Included in the auction is a special oil portrait of Leroy Grannis taking that famous shot of Dewey cranking that heavy cutback at 22nd Hermosa - painted by Phil Roberts. The event will raise money for Hermosa Beach Surf Legends Bronze Fountain of Dewey Weber for the gateway to the city.

In commemoration of Spyder Boards 25 years of community service and surf industry influence, the shop decided to throw a demo. The event actually turned into a festival, that brought more than 6,000 people (according to the local Fire Department) to Downtown Hermosa Beach.
