Pro-Tec Pool Party Webcast Saturday on FUEL

Vans will hold it’s annual Pro-Tec Pool Party this Saturday, May 16, and 40  top pros will gather to compete for a $90,000 purse. The event will also be Webcast live at Fuel TV: http://www.fuel.tv/live/poolparty.

The Vans Skatepark in Orlando and BC Surf & Sport in Park Meadows, CO will be simultaneosly be projecting the live Webcast, and Vans and Rockstar are offering prizes and giveaways during the contest for those viewers who are the first to call in with correct answers to trivia questions. The Pro-tec Pool Party brings out some of the best skaters in the world to compete in Pro, Masters, and Girls categories. The Masters contingency will include legendary skateboarders like four-time Pro-tec Masters Champ Chris Miller, Steve Caballero, Lance Mountain, Lester Kasai and Jeff Grosso. The Girls division will include defending champion Mimi Knoop, past champion Cara-Beth Burnside, and up-and-coming standout Lyn-Z Adams Hawkins.

FUEL TV has successfully executed several action sports webcasts this spring—most recently the six-star prime 6.0 Lowers Pro at Trestles. In addition, FUEL TV produced the first full HD webcast of a skateboarding contest, the Tampa Pro, in March.
