expo
On October 11–12 hundreds of shapers, surfers, and surfboard enthusiasts gathered in Del Mar, California for the second annual Sacred Craft surfboard show. It’s like ASR or Surf Expo, except it’s only surf hardgoods and instead of retailers making the rounds it’s the public—although there were a few retailer spottings for sure. Aside from booths full of boards there were shaping seminars, live shaping booths, and videos playing in a tent outside the venue. Check out some photos here.
Dick Baker, president of SIMA, discusses the possibility of lengthening the annual Surf Expo.
