About 250 surfers and friends gathered for the Inaugural Paddle Out fundraiser with a mix of surfing legends, amazing auction items, great food and music with SuperWave. The event raised more than $30,000, which will be used for interior improvements to the museum.

Crowds bid on auction items donated from several major businesses and enjoyed live music by SuperWave. Proceeds from the dinner and auction will go toward improving the museum’s interior facilities.

The California Surf Museum announced plans to relocate its headquarters to 312 Pier View Way, Oceanside, Calif. and will hold an inaugural paddle out fundraiser Thursday, May 8, at the Carlsbad Ocean House Restaurant.
