ActionWatch: Wovens Show Large Back-To-School Sales Increase In Core Shops

Sales of men’s/boys’ woven shirts were up nearly 15% during August compared to the same month last year, and women’s skirts also saw another large year-over-year increase in August, but overall sales of all product categories were down almost 20% in August compared to the same month last year. ActionWatch: July Sales See Lowest Declines in 2009 To Date

Stores on the ActionWatch Retail Panel who have been reporting for at least a year showed the lowest sales declines of 2009 to date in July.
