The event, marked Agenda’s first show at the Huntington Beach location, and the first-ever stand alone show Agenda has done since departing from San Diego, according to Levant.

Agenda’s Aaron Levant was up in Laguna on Thursday for the festivities and came away with some great party photos, including shots of the Nike ID studio on the shop’s second floor allowing people to customize their own T-shirts and boardshorts. He also had a chance to catch up with RVCA’s PM Tenore and Hurley’s Paul Gomez.
TW Business Publisher Rob Campbell was on the scene at 225 Forest on Friday, talking with Hurley President Bob Hurley, CEO Roger Wyett and VP of Branding/Marketing Adrian Nyman. He also got a first hand demonstration of the custom sublimation process from Mike Voeghtlin, the GM of 225 Forest. Take a look:
Picking up shop and moving to a new location is risky business, especially in these tough economic times. But so far, the risk has been a huge pay-off for the Agenda trade show, as a number of brands have already confirmed their booth space.

Rather than hosting a show in September to correspond with ASR, Agenda organizers have moved the show to Huntington Beach to coincide with the U.S. Open of Surfing, nearly two months earlier.
