You know, when boards were first being shipped in from Asia in mass numbers, I was alot more worried about what the industry would turn into. However, in the last few years, awareness has been on the rise. It's never been a problem with core surfers, but with the occasional surfer or summer surfer, awareness of where their board is made is on the rise. More and more people are realizing the importance of where and how their board was made. I think things can be on the turnaround. Its nice to see that there will be an issue to deal with the matter, especially in the current economic state of our country.

With our company Wilbs Shoes, we are now manufacturing our sandals and apparel in Massachusetts. It does make a difference on how the company is viewed.
