Earth Day is here and Transworld Business is looking at at how companies across the board are taking action. Many people kicked off the holiday early on Monday, April 21, including FORTUNE, which held the first-ever Brainstorm GREEN Conference in Pasadena, Calif., according to a story posted on CNN’s Money.com site.

FORTUNE wasn’t the only ones planning ahead. On the East Coast, The Boston Business Journal announced it will hold a Green Business Summit on May 16 to discuss new technologies and innovative business practices to catapult the state into the new “energy frontier.”
