WSF and TTR General Assemblies  2009

From 29-31st May 2009, we would like to invite you to join the World Snowboard Federation and the TTR World Snowboard Tour and General Assemblies. They will take place in Innsbruck, Austria, at the Hotel Congress.You will hear reports of yet another highly successful season of project from the two world leading snowboard organizations, and get the opportunity to voice your opinions.

Because this year’s General Assembly is happening in central Europe and because the Swatch TTR World Pro Tour (WSF´s partner organisation) will be holding their General Assembly at the same time and location, we anticipate that this will be the largest group of snowboard event experts gathering in one spot for the very first time.

So don´t miss this opportunity to make a difference in the sport of snowboarding and come participate in this important event. We want to hear what you have to say!

The General Assembly will be attended by the delegates from National Snowboard Associations who are members of WSF.

WSF and TTR General Assemblies and Event Application forms

The World Snowboard Federation and Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour are working together to create a better snowboarding environment for the future of our sport. Competition organizers can now find an application form online which is avaible for all next season’s events on a 1 to 6Star level. For the first time, every regional and national event at a lower level has the opportunity to be easily and perfectly integrated in the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour 2009/2010 and, thus, becoming an active player in the most progressive freestyle Tour of the planet.

All interested events must submit their online application until June 1st, 2009. Online application is mandatory for all 1 to 6Star events. On a 1 to 3Star level, applications will be reviewed and managed by the WSF, 4 to 6Star events are reviewed and managed by the TTR Calendar Committee.

A lot of information is already available online in dedicated sections on both the WSF and TTR website, while additional details will be given after the upcoming General Assemblies. With this year’s WSF General Assembly located in Central Europe and the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour General Assembly (WSF´s partner organization) happening at the same time and location, we anticipate a gathering of the largest group of snowboard events experts ever all in the same spot. Issues such as event formats, requirements and calendar will be discussed in different work shops.
