Westbeach is celebrating 30 years in the snow game with the release of the first installment of its “Heritage Video” series to coincide with the Telus World Ski And Snow Festival in their backyard at Whistler.

The videos chronicle the history of the festival and the Canadian brand. According to the release:

“The Westbeach Heritage Project includes online video releases, reissue styles, grassroots events, and is building up to a fall 2009 book release about the brand’s involvement and influence in Canadian
snowboarding.

This week at the TWSSF Westbeach presents a picture retrospective at the State of the Art exhibit. The 50 plus pictures chart the evolution of style and changing influences of snowboarding over the last decades. Friday, april 24th, Westbeach showcases it’s new 2009/10 winter line and a look back at 30 years of Westbeach Fashion in a historic show segment at the Fashion Exposed event.”
