VAIL, Colo. – February 24, 2009 – With 18 inches of new snow in the past week, Vail Mountain today surpassed 25-feet of cumulative snowfall for the 2008-09 season. The resort has received 304 total inches of snow at Mid-Vail since opening for the season. Vail Mountain’s cumulative snowfall is 18 percent above the year-to-date average for the past eight years.
