It may only be October but the Infamous crew is as busy as ever with the release of all the new videos and tons of new magazine coverage coming out regularly. It was a busy summer with the entire crew trotting the globe in order to chase snow, big waves or to catch up with the media. Infamous is looking forward to yet another amazing winter.
The new Stepchild x Thirtytwo team video “This Video Sucks” premiered in full length at the Sole Tech HQ on September 17th featuring the riding of JP Walker, Simon Chamberlain, Joe Sexton and Stian Solberg.
So far 4 of the 7 parts of the flick, including Simon’s opening part and the segment that could very well turn Joe from AM to PRO have been made available for free download on the Stepchild site. In 2 short days Stian’s backcountry bonanza will drop. If you missed the premier don’t stress you’ll be able to download the entire video once all 7 parts have been released.
This July Thirtytwo launched it’s brand new outerwear line in NYC. The collection features signature pieces from Walker marked by his signature “Spot” logo and Sexton’s signature AM pant “The Cappa Slim.” JP, Joe and Simon were all in the Big Apple for the launch. Launch party goers were treated to an early sneak peek of “This Video Sucks,” but it got cut short when the NYPD came in and shut the party down.
Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails “Rise of the Dog” went down at Bear Mountain on the 19th of September. The Bear Mountain team including: JP, Seth, Simon and Joe were on hand to judge the smooth moves and tech tricks of riders like Scott Vine and Jed Anderson. A huge crowd gathered and the event went off as perfectly as it always does.
It’s better than a dozen donuts and was announced October 1st –the Don’z Dozen contest. Seth Huot’s closing part in People Creative’s “Nice Try” premiered with the Transworld video at the Transworld HQ last month. Seth’s part is said to be incredibly well-rounded with backcountry booters, rail bangers and some heavy slams too.
Earlier in the summer Seth along with Jeremy Jones and some of their buddies headed to High Cascade Snowboard Camp on their hogs. Seth caught all the action including the ride and the shred scene on video. Check out Mt. Hood Mayhem with Seth Huot:http://snow.stoneyour.tv/
Haslam was featured in Thrasher’s Summer Photo Issue with this smooth hurricane to fakie.
Haslam also competed in the Maloof Money Cup this summer against contest super robots. Though he’s not really a contest guy he made it all the way into the street semifinals: http://video.mpora.com/watch/X3530cckt/
While Simon was in SoCal for the premier of “This Video Sucks” and Hot Dawgz and Hand Rails he swung by the magazines too. Somehow amidst all of those commitments he found time to paddle out for a surf or two.
The Forum team held the World Premier of their new film “Forever” in San Diego last month. Stevie Bell’s smooth moves and awesome personality were screened for all to see.
Last winter some of the Forum guys went on a rail mission in Houghton, Michigan. Not only did the guys get some good photos they also got given the key to the city by the Mayor!
Stevie filmed a segment for Fuel TV’s “Dew Underground,” showing viewers what goes on in Salt Lake when there’s no snow. He hit the moto track, gave a tour of the Skullcandy offices and hit up the Utah Jazz training facility to shoot hoops.
While filming for “This Video Sucks” in Vancouver, Canada this winter Joe got this double page spread in the September issue of Transworld.
