OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE  - Sydney Australia, Tuesday, May 19, 2009 – Ocean and Earth International Pty Ltd is proud to announce Ocean & Earth Surf Accessories Team Rider Bobby Martinez Claims the 2009 Billabong Pro -Tahiti in clean three-to-five foot (1.5 metre) waves at Teahupoo in an epic final.

Bobby has claimed his second Billabong Pro in Tahiti and fourth elite tour win, establishing himself as one of the best tube-riders in the world.

“I feel great and a bit emotional,” Bobby stated. “I feel wonderful. I waited for the good ones out there and just got lucky. There weren’t too many waves and I was lucky enough to get a couple of good ones and not fall. Things just seemed to work out for me today. I really don’t know what to say. It feels really special.”
Michael Campbell 35, also on the Ocean & Earth team had a fantastic finish in the Semi finals with an overall 3rd place. Mick is now 16th on the ASP World Tour ratings. “Mick stated, that he was stoked to get a result and looking forward to the next one.”
