It has been an extraordinary May with plenty of snow blanketing our ski areas. We are very excited to announce that Mt Hutt is on track for an early opening scheduled for Saturday 30th May (subject to weather and conditions) - so make sure you have your skis and boards waxed and prepped for some Queen’s Birthday fun on the slopes! Needless to say, your favourite Canterbury skifield is a hive of activity with Ski Area Manager Dave Wilson and his team flat out preparing the road, the slopes, the lifts and of course, the snow.

We are all looking forward to taking some turns with many of you at Mt Hutt next weekend. A reminder to those with Queenstown passes - you are entiled to a 50% discount on Mt Hutt day lift passes (on presentation of your Queenstown Pass) should you head Methven next weekend for some early skiing and boarding!
