SnowSports Industries America (SIA) announces the nominations for the 2009 SIA SnowSports US Retailer of the Year Award. This award recognizes those retailers in the snow sports industry that have successfully cultivated and furthered relationships with suppliers and reps to further sales of snow sports products. The US Retailer of the Year Award will be presented to one retailer in each of the following nine regions. Nominations for this accolade will come from US suppliers and reps in the snow sports industry. Please join the industry by helping us recognize these individuals through voting for the SIA SnowSports US Retailer of the Year Award!

Nomination Criteria:
Have been in the business for a minimum of five years
Have been devoted either exclusively or primarily to snowboarding, skiing, tele, cross-country or snowshoe.
Have properly handled their financial obligations.
Have made a direct and major contribution to the snow sports industry via retailing in the following way(s):
innovative/ marketing ideas
introduction of new snow sport
outstanding retail promotions
enthusiast, expanding their customer base
exemplary customer service
other
Does the shop carry an expansive product line that will introduce new customers to snow sports? Please submit your nomination(s) no later than Wednesday, November 11th, 2009.
