Heavenly Opens Gondola For Memorial Day Weekend Sightseeing and Adventure

Heavenly Mountain Resort will open the Heavenly Gondola for sightseeing and adventure activities – including the Heavenly Flyer zip line cable ride – for the Memorial Day weekend May 22 through May 25, 2009. Beautiful weather, jaw-dropping views and heart-pumping adventure await visitors to South Lake Tahoe. The Heavenly Gondola will operate Friday, May 22 through Monday, May 25, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. for sightseeing. The Adventure Peak activities area will operate the Heavenly Flyer zip line ride from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Café Blue, located on the Observation Deck, will be open for hot beverages, drinks and light snacks from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m.; as will the full-service Adventure Peak BBQ and the Umbrella Bar at the top of the Gondola.
