Vu Skateshop is hosting the Redbull Manny Mania contest this Saturday July 11th with our good friends at Gentei.  Come out and watch and load up on free Redbull all day.  The contest is taking place at Roosevelt Park in Hampden.  For more information, be sure to check out our events tab or call us at the shop.  Following the contest, there will be an after party at Holy Frijoles.  See ya there!

Saturday July 18th we are also hosting the Transworld video premiere for Right Foot Forward.  We are showing it at Dead Freddies which is across the street from the shop.  It’s free and ALL AGES until 10 PM.  The premiere will start around 8 PM.  Transworld is offering free Transworld t-shirts when you purchase the video that night (while supplies last).

Don’t forget about our sale on shoes and t-shirts.  All shoes are 35% off unless they are already marked down and when you buy 1 tshirt, you get the 2nd 1/2 off.  All sunglasses are 35% off as well.  All sweatshirts, jackets, long sleeve, flannels, etc are 40% off.

We just got AC for the ramp area so come in and skate on these hot summer days.

If you’re not doing anything tonight, our good friend Jaeme is having an art show starting at 6 at the Parkside (4709 Harford Rd).  He’s the one who designed the skate chair in the shop and did some art work in the dressing room.  He also dropped off some pretty cool hats he designed so be sure to stop by the shop and grab one.  The Parkside will have some free food available too.

We just got a few new things in the shop that hasn’t been uploaded under our product tab just yet but it includes new Plan B decks and shirts, Girl decks, Chocolate decks, Satori Wheels. Alien Workshop decks (including the new Dinosaur Jr deck…which comes with a copy of their newest album), Habitat decks including some cruiser decks, and Reflex bearings.
