Alex Longcamp won the skate park competition Saturday at the Gatorade Free Flow Tour’s stop in Baltimore, Md.

Fifteen-year-old Longcamp from Aurora, Ind. earned the victory at Charm City Skatepark after executing a hardflip to front board slide and a hardflip to flat on the quarter during the final jam session. Kadian Maxwell was second and Tyler Thomas finished in third place.

Longcamp is a two-time finalist on the Gatorade Free Flow Tour, also winning the Newnan, Ga. event in 2008. At last year’s Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals, Longcamp finished in third overall.

“I can’t wait to go back to the finals. I had so much fun skating there last year,” Longcamp said. “The course is just perfect, and I get to see friends I don’t get to hang with too often.”

“I am stoked that Gatorade is the title sponsor of the Free Flow Tour this year,” added Jason Chapman, owner of Charm City Skatepark. “They put a lot into this event, into the kids and the park. Gatorade did this event justice.”

With the win, Longcamp earns an automatic bid into the Gatorade Free Flow Tour Finals that will take place at the Dew Tour’s Toyota Challenge, September 17-20, 2009.
