Airwalk Signs Lindsey Jacobellis & Erich Dummer

(ENGLEWOOD, CO) March 2, 2009 - Collective Licensing International is pleased to announce pro snowboarders Lindsey Jacobellis and Erich Dummer to the Airwalk team. Jacobellis and Dummer will be endorsing Airwalk lifestyle footwear alongside surfers Anastasia Ashley and Warren Metcalfe as well as skaters Andy Macdonald and Rodney Jones on the 2009 Airwalk team. By reconnecting with the snowboard community Airwalk is paying homage to the brand’s boardsport roots.

Olympic silver medalist, Lindsey Jacobellis, recently won her fifth snowboard cross Winter X Games gold medal. This World Cup Boardercross Champion from Stratton, VT has been in competitive snowboarding since the age of ten and is out to make an impact in the snowboarding world. Jacobellis has claimed numerous, prestigious titles including; Jeep King of the Mountain Snowboard Champion (2007), Best Athlete at Winter X Games (2005), Chevrolet US Grand Prix Halfpipe Series Champion (2005) and many more. Jacobellis has covered the pages of ESPN the Magazine, Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Glamour and featured in several television commercials including Visa, Kellogg’s and Dunkin’ Donuts. “I couldn’t be more excited about this newly formed relationship and I look forward to representing the Airwalk brand on and off the hill,” said Jacobellis.

Erich Dummer, from Chisago Lakes, MN has been riding since age 12. Now a Breckenridge local Dummer spends his winters competing and filming all over the United States. Dummer is a classic all-mountain rider hitting pipes, parks, back country and slope style competitions. His smooth style scored him 1st place at the Echo Mtn. “Last Park Standing” competition in 2008 and 2nd place at the “Copper Mt. Shop Wars” in 2006. Dummer has been featured in many shred videos and films including “Never Felt Better”, “When in Doubt, Lay it Out” and “Bad Ideas.” Dummer coaches at Windell’s snowboard camp during the summer months. “It is cool to be a part of one of the original action sports brands, throughout the years Airwalk has sponsored some of the most important riders in the industry. I am excited and happy to be on the team,” said Dummer.
