Getting ready for Opening Day is like planning a surprise party where the planners are the ones surprised. We never know exactly when it will happen but we are on high alert in anticipation. On the last day of summer, Loveland started making snow. On the second day of fall Arapahoe Basin started making snow. People are buying season lift tickets and here at Colorado Ski Country we’re putting the finishing polish on this year’s Gold Passes. Any day now we could get the call that Colorado is open for making turns – SURPRISE!
