Zumiez Reports June 2009 Comps Down 19.2%

According to a statement released today by Zumiez Investor Relations, the specialty retailer’s total net sales for the five-week period ending July 4, 2009, were down 7.9 percent to $32 million, and comparable store sales were also down by 19.3 percent.  Here’s the official press release:

(NASDAQ: ZUMZ) a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that total net sales for the five-week period ended July 4, 2009 decreased 7.9% to $32.0 million, compared to $34.7 million for the five-week period ended July 5, 2008.
