Zumiez Comp Sales Down 8.9% For October 2009

Zumiez announced today that comparable store sales decreased 8.9 percent for the period ended October 31, 2009. The retailer’s Investor Relations Web site has more details:
“Zumiez Inc. (NASDAQ: ZUMZ), a leading specialty retailer of action sports related apparel, footwear, equipment and accessories, today announced that total net sales for the four-week period ended October 31, 2009 decreased 1.5% to $24.7 million, compared to $25.0 million for the four-week period ended November 1, 2008.
