VAS Inks Exclusive Distribution Deal With Burton

VAS and Burton have extended their video distribution partnership for a third year. VAS will be Burton’s exclusive worldwide media partner and distributor for their upcoming film, directed by Brad Kremer.

Under direction of the multiple award-winning Kremer, the film promises to redefine the genre and push the boundaries of cinematography. Filmed on location in Alaska, Australia, Canada, Colorado, Japan, Minnesota, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, Salt Lake City and Tahoe, and with a massive investment in the latest camera and production technology, the film is Burton’s only media project this year.

Burton Team riders showcased include Mason Aguire, Mikkel Bang, Danny Davis, Tadashi Fuse, Terje Haakonsen, Jeremy Jones, Freddie Kalbermatten, Nicolas Muler, Jussi Oksanen, Kevin Pearce, Keegan V, Shaun White and several “special guests.”

“Working on a Burton movie with the full support of the company and riders has been a dream of mine for a long time now. To see it finally come to fruition is an amazing thing. Burton has pulled out all the stops to give something special back to snowboarding. This movie is the next step in the evolution of snowboard films, and I am proud to be a part of it,” said Kremer.

With an insane combination of world-class athletes and a globally recognized production company, Burton wanted to insure a worldwide reach for the project, as well as the ability to leverage the film into global broadcast markets after home video sales were finished.
