UAE To Build Outdoor Ski Resort in Desert

According to Business Intelligence Middle East the United Arab Emirates city of Ras Al Khaimah, RAK, is developing a major new resort which will feature an outdoor ski slope with “snow” that can withstand temperatures into the high 90s. New roads are currently being built to accommodate the plan. No information was included in the story about the Australian contractor that is working on the snow project, and the time frame puts opening day at a decade out.
