Tilly’s has appointed Daniel Griesemer as its new president and CEO, succeeding Hezy Shaked, who has served as the retail chain’s chairman of the board, president and chief executive officer since c0-founding the company in 1982. Shaked, who will continue to sefve as chairman of the board of directors, will also be heading up the newly created position of chief strategy officer for Tilly’s in the future:
Prior to joining Tilly’s, Mr. Griesemer served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Coldwater Creek, Inc. from October 2007 through September 2009. He also held the positions of Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, as well as other executive posts at Coldwater Creek from 2001 to 2007. He began his career with Federated Department Stores and later held management and senior positions at firms such as Macy’s, Inc. and Gap, Inc.
