The Buckle’s September Comp Sales Increase 5.1%

The Buckle announced that comp sales for the five week period ending October 3, 2009, increased by 5.1 percent from comparable net sales for the five-week period ending October 4, 2008, according to a report by Yahoo Finance:

“Net sales for the five-week fiscal month ended October 3, 2009 increased 10.1 percent to $80.1 million from net sales of $72.8 million for the prior year five-week fiscal month ended October 4, 2008.

Comparable store net sales year-to-date for the 35-week period ended October 3, 2009 increased 10.4 percent from comparable store net sales for the 35-week period ended October 4, 2008. Net sales for the 35-week fiscal period ended October 3, 2009 increased 16.0 percent to $557.2 million from net sales of $480.4 million for the prior year 35-week fiscal period ended October 4, 2008.”
