SoCal Skatepark Shut for Helmet Defiance

picture-140A recent TransWorld SKATEboarding web post noted that Hollandia Park  skatepark in San Marcos has shut down its park due to skaters not wearing helmets. In a San Diego Union Tribune article Angela Lau wrote

For the second time in a month, the city has closed the skatepark at Hollandia Park because some skateboarders continue to refuse to wear helmets.

San Marcos closed the park Wednesday after three groups and several individuals wouldn’t follow safety rules.
