Snoloha Finalizes Licensing Deal To Introduce Brand In Europe

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - Traverse City, MI, August 18, 2008 - The Snoloha brand was launched as a clothing line in the U.S. at retail in February of 2007. In its short 18 months in the market, the brand has received national recognition; including being honored as a Surf Expo LAUNCH finalist, the winner of StartupNation’s “Most Slacker-Friendly” business, and was featured on MSN.com.

Now, the brand will have an international presence. Through a licensing agreement with Robe-World Distribution located in Granada, Spain, Snoloha will be introduced this fall along the southern coast of the Mediterranean and throughout the rest of Spain. The international presence will begin with operations in Spain, with expansion into Germany and Italy to follow in 2009. “The expansion into Europe is not only extremely exciting and a major step forward, but also proof that the brand, and the lifestyle it represents, has global appeal,” said Call.

The concept behind Snoloha is to combine the various climates, activities, and elements that we all experience in life into one brand, one image, and one word - hence the marriage of “snow” and “aloha.” The definition of Snoloha is “A lifestyle shared by those who live, play, travel, vacation, relax, or simply enjoy life somewhere between the islands and the arctic. This brand and lifestyle has initially been launched through clothing and accessories and is currently available online at www.snoloha.com (though the full retail line is not yet represented on the website) and at 25 specialty retailers throughout the U.S., and growing.
