“I hope to have a long and fruitful relationship with the Flux family. I am so happy to finally be able to team up with a company that recognizes what being core is all about. Together, we’re gonna rule the world! Back in the day, before I was riding for the B, I was using Flux bindings. I always remembered how comfortable they were and how beautiful they looked. After leaving my previous sponsor, I felt that I would go back to my roots and align myself with a company that represented a core image. I’ve always seen myself on Flux, so here I am, back on Flux.”

If Flux Bindings is the binding brand closest to your heart, Romain…
Then why didn’t you ride Flux bindings on your Airwalk boards, instead of Burton bindings, before the big B owned you?
Allthough this is true, I’m just playing, dude…
Am happy for you, leaving the commisars at B(urden)
I work retail with Burton as a main hardgoods-brand. Like the product, most of it.
Kinda need it after a long history with the brand. Lot of high end product regular customers.
This despite that Norway’s distributor SUX!
Respectwise, I feel the brand is on a downhill, litterally. My trust in the brand is decreasing.
Team is leaving, or, should I say, getting the boot via insultingly small offers.
Last year, Burton’s R&D department propably laughed at Mervin and their rocker-shape.
Now, as late models, they have like 10 boards with rocker-shape, even S-rocker.
The S-rocker. Wow.
Now Burton “owns” the rocker, also. -NOT!
Quik/Mervin should sue the big dog!
-That would, eh, rock…

Are opinions forbidden on this site, suddenly?

How can any brand with a primary goal to make money be core?
Genuine interest and feelings for the sport is how close any can come, I’d say.
