BOOST MOBILE AND COUNCILMAN GONZALEZ PRESENT $5,000 DONATION TO JOHNNY KICKS CANCER FOUNDATION

Donation presented at second annual Rock the Cradle for Johnny Romano Memorial Contest which brings together the Houston skateboarding community.

The second annual Rock the Cradle for Johnny Romano Memorial Contest will take place in Houston, Texas on October 24. This World Cup skateboarding competition is a fundraiser benefiting the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation.

To further support the foundation, Boost Mobile – who helped build the Lee & Joe Jamail Skate Park in 2008 – and Councilman Edward Gonzalez will present a $5,000 donation to Julie Romano who will accept the donation on behalf of the Johnny Kicks Cancer Foundation. Boost Mobile professional skateboarder Pierre Luc Gagnon will also be in attendance to support the event.
