Rip Curl Celebrates Huntington Beach Store Grand Opening

With the surfing world’s eyes fixed on Huntington Beach, California for the US Open of Surfing, the crew at Rip Curl took the opportunity to throw a full blown bash at the company’s new store on Main Street. Marquee surfers and World Champions Mick Fanning and Stephanie Gilmore were on hand, as were slews of industry tycoons, surf fans, and party goers. Here are just a few shots of the new store and the scene from the party.

Way to open a store and loose some great accounts. Rip Curl is still a failure in the states the boys and girls back in Aussie land need to give up some control to the people they put in charge over hear in the USA to make things happen. Opening new stores next to some of the biggest players in our industry does not help in my opinion. Way to go guys.

a fools comment indeed. You just do not know the facts, and I own a competing store down the street. I am just tired of the bashing and negative shit from people who do not know what they are talking a about.
