Ride Names Shawn Penrod US Sales & Marketing Manager

Ride Snowboards has promoted long-time Rockies sales rep Shawn Penrod as its new US Sales & Marketing Manager, where he’ll serve as the liaison between the company and its reps and dealers. Penrod will also oversee domestic advertising, promotions, events and communications in the newly created position.

“Shawn is a highly respected and successful sales rep who has been instrumental in expanding Ride’s presence in the Rockies,” said Louis Boudreault, VP Sales & Marketing in North America. “He needs more room to operate. In his new role he will be a key player in growing Ride’s market
share and brand presence nationwide.”

Penrod has been holding down the Rockies for Ride for the last six years and has been riding for 20 years. “I’ve always been excited about Ride and it’s commitment to core snowboarders, even when I was working in retail,” Penrod said. “It’s already a killer brand with exceptional people behind it. I can’t wait to get in there and put my own spin on things.”

Penrod will relocate from Denver to Seattle in November and start in his new position immediately.
