Quiksilver Technical Division, based in Hossegor, France, has signed an agreement with A&A Optical to be the exclusive supplier of Quiksilver and Roxy ophthalmic (prescription) eyewear in the U.S. and Puerto Rico. The new lines will launch at the upcoming Vision Expo West trade show in Las Vegas.
According to the release:

The Quiksilver and Roxy brands will open up many new markets for A&A in the U.S. and Puerto Rico which are key to our continued growth.”
Quiksilver Inc., owns the Quiksilver and Roxy brands, two global brands whose names are synonymous with the board-riding lifestyle and youth culture. Quiksilver and Roxy eyewear has been primarily marketed in Europe and Australia since 1998.
A&A Optical Company’s eyewear brands include Jalapenos, PEZ, XXL, Cruz, Alexander Collection, VeraCruz and New Globe. More info on A&A is available at www.aaopticalco.com.

Surprised by this? When will A&A promote Quiksilver? Hopefully before Pez and the other 7 brands they promote. Will the A&A reps wear Quiksilver ties when they see the eye doctors? JK
Good luck Quik!
