Massive Storm Rolls Through Rockies

With snow still falling and up to 2 feet expected the Rocky Mountains are getting dumped on. Winter is here and the mountains are welcoming the snow! The storm looks like it will linger in the Rockies for the next day or so leaving resorts with more snow and cold temperatures allowing the snow making guns to go full force and expedite resort openings. Check out these photos from around the region.

Echo Mountain may have taken the title for the most snow from this storm with 38 inches and is hoping to open early. The resort says sales of its $169 passes are moving briskly. Photo: Marc Moline.
