The La Jolla Group, parent company of O’Neill Clothing, Lost Clothing, Metal Mulisha and Rusty North America, announced today that it has opened a new corporate office in Irvine, featuring an advanced distribution center complete with 20 dock doors, more than a dozen high-tech conference rooms and meeting areas, a photo studio, a 2,000 sq. ft model retail store, and an indoor skate park with quarter pipes and rail hits. Here’s part of the official company statement:

“Providing an all-encompassing 21st century action sports experience, the campus reflects La Jolla Group’s progressive culture from floor to ceiling, helps consolidate front and back house operations, showcases each brand’s DNA, and offers the resources, amenities and real estate needed for future business development.

Designed by award-winning architecture firm LPA, the facility’s forward-thinking concept incorporates sustainable materials, modern design elements, and noteworthy highlights aimed to merge efficiency with creativity.  Featuring an advanced distribution center complete with 20 dock doors, over a dozen high-tech conference rooms and meeting areas, a photo studio, and a 2,000 sq. ft model retail store, La Jolla Group’s new HQ also includes an indoor skate park with quarter pipes and rail hits, a “Make Your Mark” art exhibition wall for staff contributions, a fitness center, an indoor basketball court, and a “Hall of Fame” retrospective of each brand’s accomplishments.

“In this day and age, going to work is more than just showing up from 9 to 5,” said Toby Bost, chairman of the Board and ceo, La Jolla Group.  “People aren’t solely motivated by salary and title, but by their social experience in the office and involvement in the company’s culture and growth as well.  With this new space, we have created a dynamic workplace and a healthy environment — a true 21st century organization that caters to the next generation of business people, and enhances their lifestyles in and out of the office.  We’re extremely excited about this new campus and are confident that the productivity and teamwork within our company will benefit.”

La Jolla Group will be celebrating its new location with an invitation-only grand opening event on Wednesday, July 29th.  In the meantime, see more from La Jolla Group this week on FUEL TV’s “The Daily Habit” (check local listings for show times).
