Jack Link’s Joins The Dew Tour and Signs Two New Athletes

Jacks Link’s isn’t only releasing a new tasty snack, they are also partnering with the action sports world. Jacks Link’s has announced that their new MATADOR snack will sponsor the Dew Tour and Dew Tour competitors Adam Taylor (skate vert) and Dennis Enarson (BMX dirt, park). The Dew Tour today announced that MATADOR™ by Jack Link’s® has signed a multi-year deal as an associate sponsor of the Dew Tour.

MATADOR, a bold new brand for action-driven teens, will receive tour-wide exclusivity in the salty snack category as an associate sponsor of the Dew Tour. MATADOR will also receive fullyintegrated marketing benefits, including television ads on NBC, USA Network and Universal HD, online and on-site Tour exposure, as well as inclusion in the Tour’s multi-million dollar marketing campaign.

“We’re excited to add the new MATADOR brand by Jack Link’s to the list of first-class sponsors for the Dew Tour,” said John Stamatis, vice president of marketing and partnerships. “They are a great fit for our Tour, and their athletes have consistently performed well every year. MATADOR also recently announced that Dew Tour competitors Adam Taylor (skate vert) and Dennis Enarson (BMX dirt, park) will be joining their action sports team.

Entering its fifth year, the Dew Tour is the most watched and attended action sports property in the world. Attendance for the 2008 Dew Tour totaled nearly 275,000 and an average of 49 million viewers tuned in via NBC, USA, MTV and MTV2. The top athletes in the world will take part in this year’s Tour, all competing for the highly coveted Dew Cup that will be awarded in Orlando at season’s end to champions in each of the six disciplines.
