IVI presents the Standard, a Keith Hufnagel signature sunglass
Today marks the release of the Standard, IVI Vision’s first signature model frame, designed by Keith Hufnagel. Here’s more details on the new eyewear and Hufnagel’s inspiration for the frame.
Keith Hufnagel grew up skating the streets of New York City before moving to San Francisco in 1992 to become a pro. After ten years of traveling the world skating for companies like Real, DC, DVS, and Spitfire, Hufnagel decided to add retail entrepreneur to his resume, opening the first HUF store in 2002. Since then, HUF has boomed into world-renowned streetwear brand, coveted by collectors and kids alike, and Keith has relocated again, this time to Downtown Los Angeles where he spends his time running the brand, skating, and being a full fledged leader of the Dirtbag Crew.
As an ambassador to newly minted premium eyewear line, IVI, Keith was the first person to design a signature style, the STANDARD, available 4/29. The Standard features a hand-made Italian acetate frame from renowned supplier Mazzucchelli 1849, crystal clear Carl Zeiss Vision Sunlenses, optical grade 5-barrel hinges and metal inlay branding and aesthetic details. Available in three color ways, the style was hand designed by Keith with the assistance of IVI co-founder and creative director, Jerome Mage
