Press Release

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - October 29, 2008 - It’s an obvious assumption to the plain eye that the skateboarding industry uses trees to produce skateboards and everyone is aware of that, however; it’s what we should do after the tree gets cut down that needs attention. Index Ink is taking an initiative to give back for what good old Mother Nature has given us.

For every T-shirt bought from our “Making Changes” series, Index Ink will plant five trees. The series features all organic cotton and environment friendly inks. To help make this happen Index Ink has partnered with American Forests, which is a world leader in planting trees for environmental restoration, pioneering the science and practicing of urban forestry, and a primary communicator of the benefits of trees and forests.
American Forests is the nations’ oldest non-profit citizen’s conservation organization. The organization was founded in 1875 by concerned citizen’s that cared about how their forests were being abused. The organization is proud of its historic roots in the development of America’s conservation movement and of the new approaches they developed to help people improve the environment in the 21st Century.Help Us,
