Freestyle Welcomes Bede Durbidge to Surf Team

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. (July 08, 2008) ? Freestyle, the original action sports watch manufacturer, is proud to announce its sponsorship of Australian professional surfer Bede Durbidge.

Durbidge is currently ranked third on the ASP World Tour and Freestyle Marketing Director, Chad LaBass is elated to have signed a multi-year contract with him.

Durbidge is set to make his next move at the Billabong Pro at Jeffereys Bay, South Africa; the 11 day holding period for the contest will begin on July 10, 2008. Durbidge will be competing against other world class surfers including the ASP World Tour’s current first and second place holders, Kelly Slater and Joel Parkinson. Durbidge is fired up about joining Freestyle just days before the competition. “I’m absolutely stoked to be on the Freestyle team as they’ve been around since the beginning.
