FUEL TV has implemented a unique marketing scheme to get people stoked and involved with its upcoming Dew Underground Portland Show, being filmed during the Portland stop of the Dew Tour (August 13-16).
FUEL TV teamed up with Verizon, Mountain Dew, Nemo, and VooDoo Doughnuts, on a guerrilla style promotion for the show. It started last week with “Voodew” doughnut drops at local skate parks and continues this week with the Nemo produced Dew Underground Aquarium Car to promote the Dew Tour stop in Portland.

The car is a 1970 VW bug, it has 325 gallons of Mountain Dew inside it! Joel Bilhartz assembled the car, Nemo designed the car and produced the campaign. (Photo: Kari Rowe)
The bug is being moved to various locations throughout Portland now through the beginning of the Portland Dew Tour. The location of the car is “tweeted” daily and the fans with the craziest pictures will get hooked up with tickets to the Portland stop.
