Danny Davis Joins Totino’s

Danny Davis will have no shortage of Pizza Rolls this season. After a great start to his 2008-09 season Davis suffered some injuries but is back and with a new sponsor. Davis has signed on with Totino’s and is pumped to be on board with someone who supports the progression of snowboarding.

Here’s the release: Totino’s®, makers of Totino’s Pizza Rolls® snacks and Totino’s Party Pizza®, announced today that the brand has signed top professional snowboarder Danny Davis.  The signing of Davis marks another step forward in Totino’s support of snowboarding.
“I am super excited to sign on with Totino’s,” said Davis. “It’s awesome that Totino’s backs the progression of snowboarding and it’s great to have their support.”

At just 21 years old, Davis has already made a huge impression on the snowboard world and despite a broken ankle, as well as knee surgery, had an impressive 2008/2009 season, including first place finishes at the inaugural Winter Dew Tour stop in Breckenridge, Colo. and then at the Burton European Open in LAAX, Switzerland.  Davis is a part of the well-known FRENDS crew with other tops riders such as Keir Dillon, Scotty Lago, Mason Aguirre, Luke and Jack Mitrani and Kevin Pearce.

“Danny’s fun and spontaneous personality fits perfectly with our brand. He’s a talented rider and we’re thrilled to have Danny on board,” said Jason Bennicoff, Totino’s Associate Marketing Manager. “Totino’s has been involved with the action sports community for the past three years, and sponsoring the Winter Dew Tour is the next step in deepening our commitment.”

In addition to sponsoring Danny Davis, Totino’s is joining the Winter Dour Tour as event title sponsor of the tour’s opening event in Breckenridge, Colo., December 18-20, 2009. The brand will give out samples of Totino’s products at the Totino’s Open, and will offer fans a chance to win a VIP trip to the 2010 Winter Dew Tour along with new gear.
