Burton Snowboards announced that Adam Moran has officially taken on the Burlington, Vermont based role of Burton Global Team Manager.  Moran has come a long way with Burton since starting in the Burlington Flagship Store as a shop employee in 2002. Moran’s most recent role, in addition to documenting the exploits of the Burton team with his camera, was as Shaun White’s dedicated Team Manager.

Here’s a brief bio:

In 2003, he landed his first job in Marketing as Burton’s Photo Editor and Team Coordinator. Between sifting through thousands of Burton photos and running point on various team duties, Adam found time to shoot his own photos at Burton events around the globe. In 2005, Adam was given more opportunities to shoot photos for Burton. Now Adam’s photography can be found in some pretty impressive places. Adam’s photo of Kevin Pearce landed on the cover of the December 2008 issue of Photo District News, the leading magazine in the photo industry. And his photograph of Shaun White graced the cover of the February 2008 issue of Snowboarder magazine. In August 2006, Adam took on another new role at Burton as Shaun White’s dedicated Team Manager. For two years, Adam went everywhere with Shaun, getting an inside look at what it’s really like to be one of the world’s most famous athletes. Now Adam is taking on the new challenge of running point for the Burton Global Team. He looks forward to spending more time with all of Burton’s team riders, who he’s known and been photographing for years. Adam will continue to shoot photos for Burton in addition to managing the team.
