According to SOURCE: Black Box Distribution has announced it is partnering with Frank Messmann to create Black Box Europe. Originally a Professional Skateboarder, Frank has been a part of the skateboard industry for 20 years.

Originally from Denmark, Frank has held several roles of increasing responsibility in the skateboard industry since his days as a professional skateboarder. Based in the US for many years he was an early partner in, and CEO of, Dwindle Distribution and World Industries, he has also held Executive Management positions at Powell Corporation, DC Shoes and most recently as General Manager of Sole Technology Europe.

“Frank’s knowledge of the European market as well as his industry and business experience makes him the best possible partner for this new project”, said Jamie Thomas.“I have always admired Jamie’s achievements as a Professional Skateboarder and Business Entrepreneur and I am excited about this new partnership which clearly shows Jamie’s and Black Box Distribution’s commitment to further grow and support Skateboarding in Europe” said Frank Messmann.

Black Box Europe will be headquartered in Amsterdam and will manage all distributor relationships and European activities for Black Box Distribution starting in 2009.
