Bede Durbidge On A Mission, Sits Number 2 In The World

OFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE - San Clemente, CA – On A Mission (OAM) would like to congratulate team rider Bede Durbidge for placing 1st in the second to last stop on this years WCT Tour, the Hang Loose Santa Catarina Pro in Brazil. Bede blazed through the contest eventually matching up against Jeremy Flores of France. Bede was in perfect Rhythm in the final and eventually topped Flores with a 2 wave total of 17.76 to Flore’s 9.86. Congratulations Bede!

With this win, Durbidge secures the number two spot in the ratings heading into the final ASP stop at the world famous Pipeline. Durbidge, winner of the 2007 Vans Triple Crown is heading into Hawaii as the defending champion. With Kelly Slater already wrapping up this years title, Durbidge is stoked at the chance of finishing out the year in the as #2 in the World.
