MARKETING MANAGER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
-Manage day to day operations of the Marketing Department including but not limited to snow reporting, photography, team management, street teams and web updating.
-Assist the Director of Marketing with strategic marketing including campaign development, advertising creation, placement and tracking.
-All public relation and communication functions including press releases, media relations, and newsletters (internal and external).
-Develop and manage traffic-driving promotions.
QUALIFICATIONS include but are not limited to the following:
-2 to 4 years of resort marketing experience.
-Microsoft Office. Skills in web updating and graphics a plus.
-Must be able to ski or snowboard.
-Good written and spoken communications skills.
-Must be able to give direction and follow up.
-Must be highly organized and able to work within a budget.
-Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, with ability to multi-task
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during busy season
SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following:
-Organize and develop all special events at the resort.
-Manage all on-hill and administrative duties in connection with events.
-Work with the Marketing Director to develop, organize, and implement promotions.
-Generate cash from resort sponsors.
-Track effectiveness of all special events and promotions.
-Assist in communicating all special events and promotion.
-Assist with creative and collateral to support event and promotions.
-Work with resort managers to develop event support materials.
QUALIFICATIONS include but are not limited to the following:
-2-4 years of managerial event experience with emphasis on organization and production.
-Must be able to ski or snowboard.
-Good communication skills.
-Must be able to give direction and follow up.
-MS Office. Web updating and graphic skills a plus.
-Must be a self-starter, goal-oriented, with ability to multi-task
-Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, during busy season
