There’s definitely no shortage of parties during the X Games in L.A., but ones that last four days tend to get our attention. This year DC commited what it calls a “hosted hotel takeover” of The Standard, Downtown Los Angeles during the 2008 X Games. “We were pretty much all staying here anyway,” said DC president Nick Adcock from the VIP lounge Thursday night. “So we figured we might as well make it official.”
In addition to filling all 12 floors of the hotel with athletes, staff, and sponsors, DC worked with its partners to create exclusive VIP lounges and host events every night.
Helping out with what was no doubt an enormous bill was co-sponsor Monster, and presenting sponsors Fuel TV and Complex magazine.

If Quiksilver had any balls they’d pull DC sponsorship from the the X-Games.
